MSC, Mediterranean Shipping Company wishes to advise its clients that in view of the extreme demand for space on the eastbound trade ex N. Europe and general scarce availability of equipment everywhere, as of April 1st 2010, a General Rate Increase (GRI) will be applicable to all containers / all cargoes (including Waste Products) destined to the Indian Sub-Continent.
The amounts are as follows:
- USD 200 per 20' container
- USD 300 per 40' container
"North Europe" covers the North West Continent, U.K./Ireland, Scandinavian counties, Finland, Poland, Baltic countries, Russia, Portugal, North-West of France, North of Spain.
