GRI Announcement Exports from North America to Relay Destinations

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA wishes to advise clients that in order to preserve the existing comprehensive range of services between North America & Relay* and to advance freight rates towards a sustainable level, it is necessary to implement a General Rate Increase effective 1st of April 2010.

From the U.S.A., Mexico, Canada, the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic to Relay* rates will increase by USD 200.- x 20’ & USD 300.- x 40’.

( * Relay = Bangladesh, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Lebanon, Syria, Cyprus, Egypt, Ukraine, Georgia, Bulgaria, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E, Yemen, Jordan, India, Pakistan, Djibouti, Kenya, Sudan, Tanzania, Algeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Libya, Malta, Mauritania, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo, Tunisia, Iran, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Sri Lanka, Romania, Russia, Gambia, Guinea, Iraq)
