MSC Introduces New Direct Service from Far East to India, Pakistan and the Persian Gulf

Geneva, Wednesday 12th October 2005.

MEDITERRANEAN SHIPPING COMPANY S.A of Geneva, Switzerland is pleased to announce the introduction of their new Falcon Service from the Far East direct to the Ports of Indian, Pakistan and the Persian Gulf.

Commencing with the sailing of the MSC Hobart from Shanghai on the 5th of November 2005 MSC will provide a direct express weekly service deploying six vessels of 2500 TEU capacity on the following port rotation:

Shanghai, Ningbo, Chiwan, Singapore, Nava Sheva, Jebel Ali, Dammam, Bandar Abbas, Muscat, Port Qassim, Belawan, Port Kelang, Singapore

This Falcon Service will also link into MSC’S existing comprehensive service network in the Far East enabling MSC to provide a premium service package from all of the Far East to India, Pakistan and the Persian Gulf Ports with excellent transit times.
