SKR announcement on cargo from the U.S.A. to New Zealand 09/08/2012

After further review of the labor conditions in New Zealand, MSC has decided to suspend the application of the charge till August 31, 2012.

 

In the event of further labor actions, the New Zealand Strike Surcharge will be implemented under the same terms and conditions effective September 1, 2012.

Due to the effects of the ongoing labor dispute between the Maritime Union of New Zealand and the Ports of Auckland, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company wishes to advise clients of a Strike Surcharge (SRK) to be implemented on all export cargo from the U.S.A. to New Zealand, effective August 15, 2012 as follows:

 

  • USD 110 per 20'
  • USD 220 per 40'
